Janice Neufeld announces retirement from First National Bank and Trust

Janice Neufeld, trust officer of First National Bank and Trust (FNBT) has announced plans to retire effective Dec. 31.

Neufeld joined the FNBT family in 1997 as employee benefits and trust tax administrator. She expanded her responsibilities to include investment assistance, IRA administration, account management, estate administration and has also served as secretary of FNBT’s various trust committees. Over the years, she has witnessed the bank become more efficient through technology advancements and provide quality service to customers.

Currently serving as trust officer, Neufeld notes that building relationships with her customers and their families has been very rewarding and one of the many highlights of her 21 year career at FNBT. While looking forward to spending more time with her grandchildren and husband upon retirement, she plans to continue serving her community by volunteering at various organizations.

An open house reception honoring Jan will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Dec. 7 at FNBT’s Beloit office, 345 E. Grand Ave., in the third floor community room. Community members, friends and colleagues are welcome to stop by to wish her well in her retirement.
