Tim Muldowney has joined the legal department at First Rockford Group.

Muldowney joins two other attorneys and a legal assistant in the leading real estate development company’s legal department.

Muldowney was born in Rockford and graduated from Hononegah High School in Rockton. He attended Illinois State University where he obtained a bachelor of science degree in economics prior to receiving his juris doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2011. During law school, Muldowney clerked in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court.

Before coming to First Rockford Group, Muldowning first-chaired jury trials and prosecuted misdemeanors, DUI and juvenile abuse and neglect cases at the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office. 

He and his fiancee currently reside in Roscoe.   

Tim Knauf, a financial representative at Williams-Manny Insurance Group in Rockford, has been named to the 2013 Million Dollar Round Table, Court of the Table and Top of the Table — the premier associations of financial professionals.

Knauf has been a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table for 20 years and a member of the Top of the Table for 12 years. 

The honor is based on professional knowledge, adherence to a strict ethical code and superior client service.

Since 1988, Knauf has worked in the financial services and employee benefits industry. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, earning a bachelors degree in economics and finance.

Lois Bentler-Lampe has joined OSF Home Care Services as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Clinical Operations.

She was the interim Ministry Chief Nursing Officer from April to October. She previously served as the System Director of Nursing Education for OSF Healthcare System beginning in April of 2010. She has been with OSF for 20 years.

As Chief Nursing Officer, she is responsible for clinical oversight of home health, hospice, home medical equipment and home infusion pharmacy programs in all OSF Home Care regions including Rockford, Peoria, Ottawa, Bloomington/Pontiac, Galesburg/Kewanee and Escanaba, Mich.

Jedediah L. Cantrell, SwedishAmerican Health System’s vice president of operations, recently became a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.

Only 9,100 healthcare executives hold this distinction. 

To obtain Fellow status, candidates must fulfill multiple requirements, including passing a comprehensive examination, meeting academic and experiential criteria, earning continuing education credits and demonstrating professional/community involvement.

SwedishAmerican Health System is a not-for-profit healthcare system headquartered in Rockford.

Shirley Geiser of Spectrum Insurance Agency of Durand, 411 Center St., Durand, Ill., recently received the Silver Key Award from Pekin Life Insurance Company.

The award is given to those who meet the requirements of commitment and dedication in the sales of life insurance. Spectrum has been providing service in the Greater Rockford area since 1982.
