The law firm WilliamsMcCarthy LLP recently announced the addition of Associate Patricia L. Hall. Her practice will focus on civil litigation, employment and labor law, and appellate advocacy.
Before joining WilliamsMcCarthy LLP, Hall practiced in the areas of workers’ compensation defense and appellate advocacy. She is an honors graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law where she was president of the Student Bar Association and co-founded the Professionalism and Ethics Society.
In law school, Hall finished as best oralist in her class during her first-year appellate brief competition. She competed in the National Latino Law Students Association moot court competition for two years, finishing in the top four in the nation the second year. She also was a member of the championship team for the NIU Law internal moot court competition.
Hall was selected to serve as the Illinois Bar Foundation/NIU College of Law attorney fellow placed in the Zeke Giorgi Clinic in Rockford. Her fellowship focused on representing clients in
domestic violence, family law matters and estate planning.
Hall is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA), Winnebago County Bar Association (WCBA), and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.
